34 massacres and more than 1200 martyrs during October in Syria

The human rights office of the Syrian Revolution Coordinators Union has documented 34 massacres during past October in Syria which caused the death of 1207 civilians, including 218 children and 67 women.

The Pro-Syrian regime militias committed 30 massacres against civilians, while ISIS committed massacres in Sha’fa town in Deir ez-zor by executing 5 civilians. Whereas the coalition forces committed a massacre in Deir ez-Zor by shelling an area of oil refineries and fuels market which caused the death of 15 civilians in that area.

In ‘Ekrima neighborhood of Homs city, a car bomb exploded causing the death of 40 children whereas in Hamdania neighborhood of Aleppo city an anonymous mortar shelling caused the death of 6 civilians.

The Pro-Syrian regime militias committed 8 massacres in Rif Dimashq , as they also committed 7 massacres in each of Homs and Daraa’ , 4 massacres in Idleb, 2 in Aleppo and its countryside and 1 in each of Hamah and Deir ez-zor.

Al-qariaten city, in the countryside of Homs, experienced the biggest massacre that resulted in killing 43 young men under torture in the regime's prisons on 30.10.2014.

Three massacres were committed in Al-Wa’r neighborhood in Homs by the Pro-Syrian regime militias which caused the death of many civilians.

Three massacres also took place by the same militias in Erbin in Rif Dimashq, and caused the death of many people.

Massacre in ‘Ekrima neighborhood was caused by anonymous car bomb near ‘Ekrima El-makhzomia school which killed 40 child on 1-10-2014

Massacre in Al-wa’r neighborhood was caused by surface-to-surface missile which killed 9 civilians on 8-10-2014.

Massacre in Al-wa’r neighborhood was caused by surface-to-surface missile which killed 11 civilians on 8-10-2014

Massacre in Talbisa city in the countryside was caused by warplanes shelling and killed 14 civilians among them 12 persons of the same family 25-10-2014

Massacre in Al Al-wa’r neighborhood was caused by shelling a residential building with surface-to-surface missile and killed 7 civilians on 25-10-2014.

Massacre in Talbisa city in the northern countryside was caused by warplanes shelling and killed 6 civilians on 25-10-2014.

Massacre in Al-qariaten city in the countryside was committed by regime forces and killed 43 young men-prisoners on 30-10-2014.

Massacre in Al-rastan city in the countryside caused by shelling the city with barrel bomb and killed 5 civilian on 31-10-2014.
